Myrtle Beach South Carolina Myrtle Beach hurricane Matthew damage

Myrtle Beach hurricane Matthew damage

Another question I get asked all the time is: Did hurricane Matthew do much damage in Myrtle Beach South Carolina? Well I have to tell you we did have a hurricane, but it didn't do much damage, power was out, trees were down, but most of the buildings on the oceanfront are concrete & steel construction, built to the latest standards, to withstand hurricane strength winds. And of course the regular low lying areas were flooded, we know where those areas are because every time there's a storm they do the same thing, so nothings changed there, but for the most part we sustain very little damage. In the city of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach was really very well organized and clean up happened very quickly. The biggest damage was to the Springmaid pier as you can see in this video. I wanted to let you know about where areas are that receive damage and also areas that had flooding. You have questions, we have answers! This is what we do every day and we're very good at it!
