Is it better to buy a 1 Br, 2br or 3 br in Myrtle Beach for an investment

The question I get asked a lot of times: I'm buying a condo on the beach, is it better to buy a one bedroom, or two bedroom, or three bedroom in Myrtle Beach. Which one will be the best investment and which one will give me the most return? Many times people will buy a condo based on what they personally like and not think about the rental... which is actually backwards! They should be thinking about what gives the best return on your investment, not what you personally like, because you're going to spend very little time in your unit, you're looking for place it's going to give you maximum dollars return. Many people will settle for two bedroom or three bedroom on the beach, because it's the way they like to live, when in fact they're renting their place out. It comes down to only 52 weeks in the year, the prime rental season, the purchae price and what you can get out of all of that! Not every complex or area of the beach will give the same return. Just because they're on the ocean doesn't mean they're all equal. You have to consider your rental history year over year, what the HOA fees are, and what they include, or don't include, and what your total expenses are.
